Activated alumina can deliver inconsistent results depending on contact time and water pH, has a limited life cycle, and may reintroduce alumina into drinking water. This raises concerns about potentially replacing one neurotoxic substance with another.

Our Approach to Fluoride Reduction

Rather than using reverse osmosis, which is commonly found in under-sink systems and which we believe is an ecologically unsound method that also displays inconsistent quality results, we focus on alternative filtration approaches.

Keeping in line with our commitment to using natural compounds and methods, we utilise patented activated calcium carbonate within our filter stages. This compound is used specifically for the reduction of fluoride, nitrates, and other compounds that are difficult to remove. According to FAN (Fluoride Action Network), this technology is recognised as effective for fluoride reduction and has been shown to outperform many reverse osmosis systems.
